The hotel was clean with large rooms and consistently courteous staff. The location was particularly good and unbeatable, close to the historic area in the beautiful Bergheim district. I truly enjoyed it.

I had an amazing time here! The service was top-notch and the breakfast was really good, plus you could catch a glimpse of the surrounding area. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was great. 😊

I ate at a great restaurant for breakfast. It was tidy and had an awesome view of the Neckar River valley. The location was great and beautiful for first time visitors to Heidelberg.

The Heidelberg Marriott Hotel is a top-class, spotlessly clean property with attentive and very helpful staff at the reception desk. The well-stocked breakfast is very good, and the hotel's ideal location is right by the center of Heidelberg and main restaurants.

The hotel was gorgeous, appreciated the river view from our king room. The American breakfast offered a great selection of dishes. The location was good, relatively near an animal park. Besides, it was a short walk to Heidelberg Old bridge, and the Castle. Everything was simply great.

Nice room overlooking the Neckar River. Friendly and helpful staff, able to provide advice on sightseeing and restaurants in the area. Best breakfast compared to the 6 other hotels we stayed in on our trip around Germany.
Not within easy walking distance of the Old Town area. Extra fees for 3rd person (older son) were excessive.

very standard, not bad but nothing special.
They have not prepared extra-bed even I have requested on the order sheet before. “Not available” was only staff’s comments and I have got in same bed with my big son. So tight!!

This place is situated in a great riverside location, conveniently close to public transport, the river, and the railway station.

This was value for money. Staff were excellent. Reception at check-in was slowish due to an unpleasant and demanding guest but they compensated appropriately for a problem that were not their fault. We ended up with a very nice, quiet and comfortable room with a river view. Not modern but furnished in a style from a more comfortable era. The breakfast buffet was good.
The location has some advantages but the hotel is quite a way from the old town. The tram/bus service is reasonably closeby and efficient. The secure on-site parking was expensive. Paying for WiFi in a 4 star hotel is unexpected these days. Similarly, tea and coffee making facilities in such rooms should be standard.

Some of the staff were so nice and friendly..
The choices of the food of room service were so limited, and the answering of the phone was slow.

The hotel is conveniently located close to taxis, ferries, and within walking distance to the historic old town. It's just a few miles away from southern Germany, Austria, and the charming Altstadt. You can easily access Restaurant Tati for a delicious lunch during your stay.

We booked a 3 nights for 2 deal through Booked.net and expected to be placed in one of the less popular rooms. In fact we had a lovely room over looking the river, breakfast was excellent and the staff were great.
No complaints at all about the hotel or staff.
